Profil Tenaga Kerja Sektor Pertanian di Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta (Studi Kasus Tahun 2024)

Sektor pertanian memegang peran strategis dalam perekonomian dan ketahanan pangan di Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis keragaman profil tenaga kerja sektor pertanian di Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta tahun 2024 berdasarkan karakteristik sosial-demografis. Data yang digunakan merupakan data sekunder dari Badan Pusat Statistik mengenai penduduk berusia 15 tahun ke atas yang bekerja selama seminggu terakhir di bidang pertanian, kehutanan, dan perikanan. Analisis deskriptif kuantitatif digunakan untuk menggambarkan variasi tenaga kerja menurut jenis kelamin, tingkat pendidikan, status pekerjaan, dan distribusi geografis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tenaga kerja pertanian didominasi laki-laki (52,65%), dengan tingkat pendidikan sebagian besar tidak sekolah/belum tamat/tamat Sekolah Dasar (55,20%). Berdasarkan status pekerjaan, mayoritas bekerja secara informal, yaitu berusaha dibantu buruh tidak tetap/buruh tidak dibayar (34,57%) dan pekerja keluarga/tidak dibayar (33,37%). Distribusi wilayah menunjukkan konsentrasi tertinggi di Kabupaten Gunungkidul (43,94%) dan terendah di Kota Yogyakarta (0,53%). Temuan ini menunjukkan adanya keragaman profil tenaga kerja yang didominasi kelompok berpendidikan rendah dan sebagian besar berstatus pekerjaan informal, sehingga diperlukan strategi peningkatan kapasitas sumber daya manusia pertanian untuk mendukung pembangunan pertanian berkelanjutan di Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta.
